From a New Idea to a North Bay Tradition (2011 to 2026)
North Bay Science Discovery Day began in 2011 with about 30 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors. Last year in 2026, 104 organizations and 174 volunteers welcomed more than 11,000 people.
The festival has grown, but its purpose remains the same: to give young people meaningful opportunities to ask questions, explore ideas, meet people who work in STEM, and experience the wonder of science.
Our 15th event celebrates the children and families, scientists and engineers, educators and exhibitors, volunteers and sponsors who built this North Bay tradition, as well as the discoveries still ahead.
Come curious. Experience wonder.
